WebFx is a digital marketing solutions provider that provides their clients with the custom plan they need to reach their goals. WebFx started as a small with only just 55 members, since then the members have increased drastically. I was fortunate enough to tour WebFx with my fellow colleagues and I was pleasantly surprised. I will be going over the things I saw and learned on this trip and will provide a small Q&A at the end.

The first thing you notice when you arrive at WebFx is how huge it is (the pictures don’t do it justice). When walked inside we were greeted by a very enthusiastic presenter who walked us around the ground floor. We passed by a few cubicles, but I couldn’t help but notice the big flags hanging from the ceiling with the words “rated the best places to work”. We passed by some other rooms like a gym and a mini kitchen, it really felt like home. This caught me by surprise because this is something many people aren’t expecting when they think of a job.

The presenter finally guides us to a meeting room where we sit down to learn more about this amazing company. One important point they made was how they like to give back to the community. At WebFx they do fun activities for their community, they help support local business and help rebuild schools (talk about being a good Samaritan). I guess you can see how the drastic growth of this company is due to the amount of effort that they put forth in the community. The presenter ends off the presentation by telling us that they offer a 120-day boot camp training to new trainees which trains new hires in all positions. She also notes that Many people are surprised when they are given tasks that they didn’t think they would receive until later.

After the presentation, we climbed up a few steps to the third floor and met Paul. Paul currently works as an internet manager, but the presenter was quick to us that at webfx everyone treats each other as equals and they don’t see one job title higher than others. After Paul explained his role in the company, he left us with some great advice. Paul says that college students should pay attention to the way they learn because it will benefit them in a future job. We finally wrapped our wonderful tour at webfx by going to the top of the building and taking photo by the lake view. As I walked back down at the entrance, I felt relief in knowing that there are jobs out there that could feel comfortable.
