Justine is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in Business Marketing. She completed her first year at State College and finished her college career at the Harrisburg campus. The main reason Justine chose Penn State was because of the business school and how reputable the program is. She knew she wanted to pursue something business related and the campus was in very close proximity to her house, so she saw Penn State as the perfect school for her.

Justine joined The Penn State Pro Sales Club her senior year and said that it was very helpful for her because it gave her a lot of practice with presenting pitches, talking to people about herself in a professional manner, and having the opportunity to network with recruiters. There are a lot of opportunities to participate in different sales competitions each semester. Justine explains that in her experience, “going to these sales competitions, there are a ton of recruiters that are very eager to talk to you and are actively looking for new hires.” These sales competitions allowed her to feel a lot more comfortable in a high pressure atmosphere while gaining confidence having business related conversations with these professionals. Justine said that these competitions were fun and memorable because they gave her the opportunity to go to amazing places like New York City while meeting like-minded individuals with the same interests as her.

Justine received multiple internship offers through Penn State Sales Club. She says that “the more clubs you join and professional experiences you expose yourself to really helps to receive offers from companies and help gain confidence on what exactly you want to do with your career.” Justine is now involved in the financial services industry and employed as a wealth advisor associate. She is currently working to become a financial advisor.
